The Delegation of the European Union to Serbia celebrates Europe Day, which is marked every year as a reminder of the publication of the Schuman Declaration, the first document on the path to European unification.
The celebration of this holiday during May 2022 marks the slogan We are better together as part of the 6-week campaign that starts on May 9 and will last until mid-June. A large number of events are planned throughout Serbia and in the online environment, which mark the common past, present and future of Serbia and the EU.
The main event will take place on May 9 at 5 pm on the Freedom Square in Novi Sad, called the Festival of Europe. Attendees will be able to see and taste everything that EU members have prepared for them at their stands, but also to compete in 3 on 3 basketball, to cheer up in the kids` corner or win interesting prizes in the EU knowledge quiz. Also, Western Balkans Youth Orchestra will play at "Better together" concert, with famous musicians from Serbia.
All programs in celebration of Europe Day are free and open to all visitors.
