EU Connectivity campaign launched!

The European Union's integrated communication campaign in the field of connectivity was launched after several months of preparations. The aim of the campaign will be to raise the level of knowledge of Serbian citizens about the support and donations of the European Union in the Energy, Transport and Digital agenda sectors, as well as to inform them about the successes of EU projects in these areas in Serbia.

The European Union is the largest donor in Serbia, with 3.6 billion euros of donated funds since 2001. Also, the EU is a key trade partner of Serbia, as well as the largest investor. However, the goal is for the general knowledge of these facts to be at a higher level. Specifically, only 6-8% of citizens are referred to EU projects related to transport and energy in Serbia.

Quality infrastructure, safe transport and increased availability of digital technologies improve the health and quality of life of Serbian citizens. Raising them to the level of EU countries is a strategic goal for Serbia and the European Union. The EU financially supports Serbia in its harmonization with EU standards and regulations.

Therefore, in order to raise public awareness of the European Union's assistance to Serbia in these areas, the campaign will be aimed at promoting EU donations and investments in the field of connectivity, communicating concrete facts in a simple and interesting way. The focus of the campaign will be the most successful projects financed from IPA instruments and investments of the European Investment Bank.

All information about donations and activities of the European Union in the field of networking, as well as activities that will be carried out during the campaign, can be found in the section connectivity on the euzatebe.rs platform.

The campaign is being conducted by the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia and the Ministry of European Integration.
