Round table - National Minority Symbols and Holidays: Comparative European Perspectives

Embarked on a journey of understanding and appreciation for the rich tapestry of cultures and identities that shape our European landscape, round table panelists explored the intricacies and nuances highlighted in the study "National Minority Symbols and Holidays: Comparative European Perspectives", by Prof. dr Vello Petai, Director of the European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI).

The insightful perspectives presented in the study offered an enlightening excursion into the fascinating realm of national minority symbols and holidays. The study delves deep into the diverse regulatory frameworks surrounding these crucial elements within societies and offers potential solutions.  

The round table was organized in the Institute for Social Sciences in the partnership with the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue and supported by the multi-donor “Facility Supporting Strengthening Rule of Law in the Republic of Serbia" co-financed by the EU and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
